A view of the back side of Coulee Dam as the waters were allowed to rise. This is the same surface where days earlier the photo crew labored for four nights to capture a picture of the Coulee Dam monster.

It was fortunate that they caught a picture of the Monster when they did, because the next day all the access roads became covered with water, and have remained that way all these years.
